The Kaszub Fishing Colony at Jones’ Island represents a unique case study opportunity to analyze historic patterns in the demographic, economic, and spatial characteristics of a homogenous ethnic enclave. This spatial study documents the fishing colony from the 1840s to 1940s.
Design analysis of milwaukee housing survey, 1936
The U.S. Resettlement Administration conducted a photo survey of Milwaukee in the mid- to late-1930s to document blight conditions in city neighborhoods. The photos represent a cohesive collection of primary source materials describing the form and type of housing at an important point and time during the Great Depression.
